BUYING TICKETS

Do I need a ticket to visit the experience?

Squid Game: The Experience, requires tickets for everyone participating, including children and designated carers.

A ticket is not required to enter the downstairs foyer bar area of the Immersive Big Top. 

Do I need to have watched Squid Game to enjoy the experience?

The experience is an independent story and game that does not depend on your knowledge of the show Squid Game. However, knowledge of the show will enhance your experience immensely – so don’t hesitate to enjoy it on Netflix!

Is the experience child-friendly and appropriate for all ages?

This experience is recommended for 8 years and over. Parents are encouraged to use their judgement about their child’s ability to fully participate in this series of physical and strategic games and use their discretion about whether their child should participate in the experience. Management discretion also applies.

Is there a limit on the number of people that can enjoy the experience?

There is no maximum number of tickets that can be booked, however there is a maximum group of 25 that can enter the experience at one time.

Where is the experience located?

The experience is located at Sydney’s Immersive Big Top at 1 Olympic Drive, Milsons Point NSW 2061, within Luna Park Sydney. The venue is indoors and air conditioned.

Is there parking available?

How long does the experience last and what time should I arrive?

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your ticketed entry time to allow for wristbanding and experience group assignment. The experience runs for approximately 45 minutes. You are welcome to purchase and enjoy food and retail in the downstairs foyer bar of the Immersive Big Top as long as you like before and after your game!

What happens if I arrive late for my ticketed entry time?

We ask that all guests arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their ticketed start time. Guests will be assigned to game groups and VIPs will be given a wristband prior to entry into the experience. If you intend to play with a group of friends, please make sure your full party is together before checking in. If you have arrived late to Luna Park Sydney and have missed your allocated time slot please approach the Experience team in the Immersive Big Top who will work with you to determine the best outcome.

What can I expect from Squid Game: The Experience?

The experience is a real-world interpretation of the iconic Netflix TV show that has swept the globe. In a highly-themed environment, you will be immersed in the world of Squid Game, and play a series of games drawn from, or inspired by the show. For approximately 45 minutes, you will participate in four different games. The winner is the player ranked number one… but be prepared, things may not be as they seem – the world of Squid Game is full of surprises. Before and after participating in the experience, the foyer bar of the Immersive Big Top is the perfect place to relax. Food and beverage offerings (for purchase), photo ops, and other entertainment will ensure that your day out is complete.

What are the hours of operation?

The experience will be open to the public initially from 14 December 2024 to 9th February 2025 (excluding 25 and 31 December 2024), with sessions held daily. Please see website for session details – book early and with your group to avoid disappointment*.

Are there restrooms available?

Restrooms, including mobility amenities are available at the venue for your convenience. Please ask a member of the experience team ifF you require assistance.

Can I leave the experience and re-enter?

There is no re-entry to the experience. Please approach an experience team member for assistance if you need to leave the experience.

How physically demanding will the experience be? Are there any physical limitations?

The experience is a series of games that involve remaining in an upright position and moving for approximately 45 minutes. The experience is accessible to all participants, however the Memory Steps game may be altered for those who require wheelchair access or mobility assistance. If you have additional requests or concerns we are happy to discuss how we can best accommodate your accessibility needs. Please contact us at grelations@lunaparksydney.com prior to buying a ticket.

Do you offer carer tickets? Are companion cards accepted?

The experience is Companion Card accredited. Guests with a Companion Card are entitled to apply for a single (one) General Admission ticket free of charge, for their personal assistant/support worker.

Please request a companion card ticket in the notes field during the booking process should it be required.

The team will reach out to you for a copy of your Companion Card after your request is received.

Companion cards must be presented by the companion card holder at the time of ticket redemption for the ticket to be valid for entry.

Can I bring animals? Are service dogs allowed?

Pets are not permitted in Luna Park Sydney or the experience, however, service animals are welcome. Please be aware that some lights and noises in the experience can be disturbing to animals. It is our goal to make the experience not just accessible but welcoming for everyone. We recognise that many different types of accommodations and assistance may be needed and are committed to assisting in any way we can. Can I purchase food and drink at the experience?

A variety of food and beverage options will be available to be purchased at Luna Park Sydney and is included in the price of a VIP ticket Vegan, gluten free & halal options are also available throughout the Luna Park Sydney.

Will there be merchandise for sale?

An exclusive merchandise collection has been created for Squid Game: The Experience. Items from the collection can be purchased at The Immersive Big Top and at the Retail Shop at Luna Park Sydney.

Can I take photos or record the experience?

Yes, although please do so in a way that is not disruptive to your teammates’ enjoyment of the experience or while actively playing a game. Flash photography, tripods and selfie sticks within the experience are not permitted for safety reasons. We encourage you to tag your photos on social media with #SquidGameExperience and #LunaParkSydney.

Are there cloakroom facilities at the experience?

There are no cloakroom facilities available in The Immersive Big Top.

Will my bag be searched?

We reserve the right to search any packages, bags, backpacks, purses, fanny packs, or any container on the premises.

What items are prohibited in the experience?

In addition, please note that the following items are not allowed inside the experience:

  •  Dangerous items and imitation weapons (guns, swords,  knives, axes, chains, etc.)
  •  Food or drink (excluding water in a resealable container)
  • Animals or pets (Service animals only)
  • Large packages, suitcases, or similar items
  • Strollers (beyond the ticketed entry point)
  • Cameras (with detachable lenses), video cameras, selfie sticks, and tripods
  • Costumes that include face masks

What guest conduct is prohibited?

In addition, please note that the following actions are prohibited inside the experience:

  • Running in the experience and the Immersive Big Top
  • Physical contact with any other guests or staff during game play
  • Jumping the line
  • Touching, fighting, taunting, or threatening remarks towards guests or staff
  • Disrupting the experience
  • Smoking and vaping
  • Guests are required to wear shirts, pants, and shoes

Failure to follow these guidelines or staff instructions may result in being asked to leave The Immersive Big Top.

Are there any clothing, costume or footwear restrictions?

It is recommended to dress comfortably for physical movement, standing, and sitting throughout the experience. Flat footwear is strongly recommended, rather than high heeled shoes. Full face masks or dangerous items (such as fake guns, swords axes or chains) are not permitted entry.

Please note that some areas of the experience feature mirrored materials on the floor. For this reason, we suggest avoiding short skirts or dresses. For any questions, please contact grelations@lunaparksydney.com

Will there be lights, haze, and loud noises?

The experience features theatrical lights, and some loud noises. If you are sensitive to these effects or have a medical condition that prevents you from interacting with such effects, please contact us at grelations@lunaparksydney.com.

Is there a Lost & Found?

Please ask the Experience Team on the day if they have found your belongings.  Otherwise, please contact grelations@lunaparksydney.com for assistance.
